Saint Mark Parish offers a comprehensive choral program of adult and youth ensembles along with a handbell choir, and opportunities for instrumentalists, accompanists and cantors. CANTOR: A cantor is an experienced, trained singer who, while remaining a part of the congregation, guide the congregation in the people’s singing of the liturgy.
Accompanist: The Accompanist provides musical accompaniment for sacramental rituals, rehearsals and Masses. They ensure quality liturgical music for the parish and enhance the liturgical celebrations.
Parish Choir: Rehearse on Wednesday, 6:30-8:00 pm (No rehearsals at this time). The Parish Choir sings contemporary liturgical music to chant two weekends each month, for feast days or other liturgical celebrations. We welcome singers at all levels of commitment.
Youth Choir: Rehearse on Wednesday, 5:30-6:15 pm (No rehearsals at this time). The Youth Choir sings one weekend each month. We invite children of Grades 3-8.
Handbell Choir: Rehearsals are scheduled at 3:45-5:00 pm. (We are rehearsing at this time). The
Handbell Choir plays monthly. We also share our gift of music with Assisted Living and Nursing Home Facilities.
