Governance
Newman Catholic Schools (NCS) is governed under the authority of the Catholic Church. Direction begins with the diocesan bishop to local pastoral authority (the Dean and/or Dean’s Delegate to NCS). The Dean and the NCS President work with building administrators. The NCS Education Commission functions as a policy forming and consultative body. Members include supporting parish pastors, parish representatives and NCS administrative
staff. Meetings are scheduled in September – November- January – March – May. Meetings are held at St Michael Parish and open at 6:00 pm. Non-commission members interested in attending the meeting as an observer are asked to phone ahead (715)845-5735.
