Dear Brothers and Sisters,
"Indeed, the word of God is living and effective, sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating even between soul and spirit, joints and marrow, and able to discern reflections and thoughts of the heart.”
 – Hebrews: 4-12
 
God's living and abiding Word is truth and life and it has power to set us free from every sin and oppression and brings us healing of body, mind, and spirit. 
 
The Word of God produces life and freedom for us. Jesus speaks his life-giving Word to us each and every day so that we may walk in the freedom of his love and truth. If we approach the Word of God with meekness and humility, we are in a much better position to learn what God wants to teach us through his word.
 
Our Christian lives are a constant battle. whoever perseveres until the end will be saved and have a fruitful life. The cross of Christ leads to victory. “Let us not be afraid of suffering: The Lord carries the cross with us.” Pope Francis.
 
Jesus teaches us to pray every day for the grace and strength to forgive others in the same measure in which God has forgiven us. 
 
God loves us wholly, completely, and perfectly - there is no limit, no holding back, no compromising on his part. His love is not subjected to the changing of moods or circumstances. When God gives, he gives us generously, abundantly, freely, and without setting conditions to the gift of his love.
 
He loves us in our weakness - in our fallen and sinful condition. Jesus teaches us to pray daily for the grace and strength to proceed our faith journey courageously. We need to draw the spiritual strength from Jesus to accept the challenges of our day-to-day life. Jesus always began the new day by spending time with the Father in prayer in a lonely place. We, too, need to have our spiritual batteries recharged by prayer and reading Bible every day.
 
Prayer: Lord Jesus, your grace is sufficient for us. Fill our hearts with love and gratitude for the mercy you have shown to us and give us joy and freedom, today, to love and serve others with kindness and respect. Amen.
